In 2023, Medusoil marked a pivotal chapter in its growth, securing CHF 5.2 million in total financing and successfully delivering major international infrastructure projects. Our biocementation technology continues to provide a scalable, low-carbon alternative for ground improvement across Europe.

International Geotechnical Solutions

One of our standout achievements was the completion of a large-scale project in the Loiret region, France. In collaboration with CEREMA, Medusoil applied its bio-based binders to stabilize a 500-meter regional road affected by soil desiccation. This project demonstrated the effectiveness of our mineralization technology in mitigating the impacts of extreme weather on public infrastructure.

CHF 5.2 Million Financing for International Expansion

Medusoil successfully secured CHF 5.2 million in new funding to ramp up production and expand our footprint in the international geotechnical market. This investment supports our mission to bring circular construction solutions to large-scale infrastructure and geo-environmental applications.

Innovation & Team Growth

We were honored with the PERL 2023 Innovation Award (Prix Entreprendre Région Lausanne), recognizing our impact on the regional startup ecosystem. Our team also welcomed Isabelle Cohen Solal as Chief Sustainability and Financial Officer (CSFO), strengthening our leadership in sustainable financial strategy and circular resource management.
