A Natural Alternative to Cement<\/h2>\n

Medusoil\u2019s process uses patented microbial strains to trigger natural mineralization.
The result is a family of binder products free of cement, designed to cut emissions and create stronger, low-carbon materials.<\/p>\n

These bio-based binders<\/a> replace traditional cement while maintaining the strength and stability needed for modern infrastructure.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Building an Industrial-Scale Facility<\/h2>\n

The company\u2019s pilot bioreactors already produce about 5 000 litres of biocementation material each month.
With the help of the Innosuisse contribution, Medusoil will multiply that output tenfold and move toward industrial-scale production.<\/p>\n

This new facility will be the centre of research and large-scale manufacturing, allowing Medusoil to deliver sustainable binders for real construction sites.
It\u2019s a key step toward making eco-friendly building materials accessible at scale.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Accelerating Market Adoption<\/h2>\n

Backed by Innosuisse, Medusoil is strengthening partnerships with industry players, public agencies, and construction companies.
Together, they aim to make biocementation a mainstream alternative to cement, reducing CO\u2082 and NO\u2093 emissions from mineral sourcing and binder production.<\/p>\n

By working hand in hand with engineers and builders, Medusoil hopes to make bio-based soil improvement part of everyday construction.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Launching Two New Products<\/h2>\n

The funding also speeds up the launch of two new biomineralization solutions:<\/p>\n

Enhanced CO\u2082 mineralization<\/a>, for industrial carbon capture.<\/p>\n

Urban greening technologies, using natural mineralization to strengthen soils and vegetation.<\/p>\n

Developed by Medusoil\u2019s R&D team with support from Innosuisse, these additions expand the company\u2019s product portfolio and confirm its position in sustainable construction.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
