\r\nIn a pilot project near a Swiss Railways<\/strong> platform in Fribourg, MeduSoil applied its biomineralization technology<\/a> to stabilize an eroding sandstone slope. \r\n

\r\nThe objective was to naturally strengthen the rock matrix through controlled calcification using minimally invasive injection and spraying methods.<\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n

The Solution: Biomineralization in Two Steps<\/h2>\r\n
    \r\n
  1. Subsurface Injection:<\/strong> 17 mm-diameter drills were used to inject the bio-binder and saturate the slope, identifying fissures and weak zones.<\/li>\r\n
  2. Surface Percolation:<\/strong> Over 45 m\u00b2, the solution was sprayed to promote additional mineralization.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n

    All works were completed within a week. After one year, calcification was visible across the slope.<\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n

    Monitoring and Digital Tracking<\/h2>\r\n

    Throughout design and monitoring, MeduSoil used an advanced GIS system and LiDAR scanning<\/a> to detect surface movement and soil-mass loss with millimeter accuracy. This digital-terrain monitoring ensures traceability and long-term stability assessment.<\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n
