January

MeduSoil receives 125’000 CHF from the Swiss Climate Foundation. The funding supports product development and carbon certification until 2022.

February

We present use cases of our projects in the GeoCongress 2020, hosted by the American Society of Civil Engineers in Minneapolis, USA. We further travel to Colombia with the St. Gallen business school to exchange with key partners from the Latam cement industry.

March

Our co-founder is included in the 2020 Forbes 30Under30 list of Europe in the manufacturing & industry category.

April

We pioneer key product developments as part of a 280’000 CHF technology transfer plan supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Gebert rüf Stiftung. MeduSoil is featured in the 2020 Swiss Energy map ecosystem🇨🇭

June & July

MeduSoil is selected by VentureLab to join an acceleration workshop of construction technologies with the Swiss Prime Site aiming at bringing contractors and smart material providers together.

August

Our team executes a new ground stabilization project and marks key results, among which: 250 % increase in soil resistance, 99% capture of nitrogen emissions compared to traditional construction practice and builds a brand new containerised injection unit for its operations.

September

Our team delivers a webinar on bio-cementation and addresses to over 300 contractors, engineering consultants and researchers from over 40 countries.

October

Our co-founder is invited to address a keynote speech at the prestigious lecture series “Advancements in Geotechnical Engineering: From Research to Practice”

A milestone study is published in Nature’s Scientific Reports journal on the use of electric currents in soil stabilization operations, patented earlier in 2019 by our team.

November

We celebrate our new corporate identity and web presence.

December

We secure CHF 2 Million in seed investment to ramp up production and grow further internationally in the fields of construction and geo-environmental applications.
